Cake Smash Somerset

Whether coming to the studio by travelling through Glastonbury or from the West Pennard side, there are 3 possible entrances to the studio. There are 2 access points to Ashwell Lane that lead on to Gypsy Lane or you can get in the other end from Wick Lane.

First Ashwell Lane Entrance

The first Ashwell Lane entrance appears on your left just as you leave Glastonbury along the A361. You’ll bare left off the main road and drive past a couple of B&B’s as well as some houses. After around 50 yards, the houses on the right side finish and you’ll continue along a narrow lane (See the 1st image below).
As you come out the other side of the narrow lend, you’ll be met with a junction with a tree in the middle (See the 2nd image below) where you can continue straight (t’s a slight bank to the left but it is straight on) or the right. You want to continue to straight and follow on to Gypsy Lane.

Second Ashwell Lane Entrance

The second Ashwell Lane entrance is also on your left just but further along the A361 just before you reach Millfield Prep School on your right. The sharp left turn is is located next to Edgarley Farm.
As you drive up Ashwell Lane, you will be met with the same tree junction mentioned above however with the options of left or right, you will need to bank to the right on to Gypsy Lane.

After the Tree Junction

You’ll go up a little hill and be met with a left turn or straight on. You will continue straight on and after around 200yards, there will be a car park straight ahead of you which is what you are looking for. Please park outside the Made Portraits studio which is the last set of parking spaces on the right outside the barn just before the house.

Wick Lane Entrance

Access from Wick Lane can be done coming from Glastonbury however it’s more likely you’ll come in from here when driving from the West Pennard/Pilton side.
The right turning is located after the Tor Stone Centre on the A361. The turning is signposted for Wick along with a Caravan park. Drive along Wick Lane a few Yards and on your right, you will pass Edgarley Farm Barns. Shortly after here, there is a hidden left turning for Gypsy Lane.
Turn, follow the road all the way to the top, go past the Glastonbury Spring Water entrance and on the sharp left corner is the entrance to the Made Portraits car park on the right.
Please park outside the Made Portraits studio which is the last set of parking spaces on the right outside the barn just before the house.
