With it now being 2015, I’m very excited to get started with what is going to be another amazing year. The Made Portraits studio opened on the 30th of January 2013 and has slowly but surely established itself as one of the best family portrait studios in Somerset. But how can we say that?
76 Photographic Awards since the studio opened, 5 of those were Gold Awards
Shortlisted for SWPP ‘Maternity Photographer of the Year 2013’
2 Images Shortlisted for Guild of Photographers ‘Image of the Year 2014’
and achieving the SWPP Associate-ship at the end of 2014.
The studio is known for shooting with personality and humour. Family Portrait sessions truly can be great fun and the images Made Portraits create have their own unique style. Last year, clients described Made as being ‘Fun’, ‘Creative’, ‘Quirky’, ‘Unique’ and ‘Amazing’.
So what of 2015? Well first and foremost we will carry on pushing the level of creativity in the Family sessions wherever we can to bring you more award winning images throughout the year.
There will also be the introduction of a ‘Fine Art Newborn’ Photography package. We’ve invested in some stunning Flokati Rugs; Wraps and some beautiful nests to capture your Newborns in. This will be a great addition to the Experience Vouchers on offer along with our new unique ‘Maternity Photography’ Package and the ‘Bump 2 Baby’ Package as well. This means whatever your requirements for your new addition Made Portraits can certainly help.
And if that’s not enough, there will be more fun portrait projects to be a part of.
‘Lemon Babies’ will carry on throughout the year and may even see some big changes to the look and style but keeping the same humorous expressions. ‘Toothless!’ will also be back for the older kids.
Although ‘Movember Portraits’ won’t happen in 2015, there will be a new Self Portrait project launching at some point in the year for a bit of a giggle but you’ll just have to wait to see what that will be.
Then there’s Made Boudoir! We’ve created so many stunning images over the last 12 months and will continue to do so throughout 2015. With some new lighting styles to use and the incredible body sculpting poses in our repertoire, it’s the perfect time to come in and try something a little different.
So this is the plan for the studio in 2015. A little bit of new to compliment what we already have on offer. We are incredibly proud of what we offer here at Made Portraits. My wife, daughter and I would like to wish you a Happy New Year and truly hope we will be welcoming you in to the studio soon.
