The ‘My 1st Year’ photography experience is an experience voucher designed to capture your little bundles first year. Normally starting with a fine art newborn session, the remaining quantity of sessions to follow is entirely up to you. Most people love to capture 6 months then the 1st birthday but you are welcome to do a number of mini-sessions in between to really capture their growth. The 1st birthday session can be a normal shoot or one of our fun cake smash sessions. Personally, my wife and I captured images every 2 months over the 1st year to allow us to have something that really showed that 1st years change.

Your sessions can be to capture a specific theme so you can create a single piece of art or to get a mix of images to tell a general story of that special 1st year. These sessions work perfectly with only children and also for kids with older siblings so there’s ultimate flexibility.

The Fine Art Newborn Photography is the most amazing way to capture your new addition in this incredible 2-4 hour session giving plenty of time for a variety of stunning compositions and more importantly, settling and feeding your baby in between shots as required. The following sessions will have two hours booked which stills allows us plenty of time to stop for feeds, changes or to settle the little one but session length is determined by each individual person an din the most part, they’re completed within an hour.

The Cake Smash sessions take messy play to a whole new level of fun! Ingredients required include a soon to be 1 year old child (Supplied by you); a nice moist cake (You can take your own or have one supplied by us for a small cost of just £15.) and a nice clean studio that will not stay that way (Unfortunately also supplied by me ;b)!

Every new parent is told repeatedly just how fast their baby will grow over the initial few months and beyond and how they should enjoy every moment. This is the perfect way to keep a professionally captured photographic record of those special memories.

All you need to do is buy your experience voucher online. Neil will then be in touch as soon as possible to discuss possible dates for your portrait experience. If you’re buying as a gift, you just need to let him know who it’s for and when you will be passing it on.

Appointments are available at 10:00 or 12:00 on a Tuesday; 10:00, 12:00, 14:00 or 16:00 on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday followed by either 09:00, 11:00, 14:00 or 16:00 on Saturdays. The studio is closed on Sundays and Mondays. A weekday appointment of 18:00/19:00 can be made available on request if the other options aren’t suitable for you.

Selecting ‘Yes’ to ‘Printed & Delivered’ means that a voucher will be sent to you presented within a lovely envelope all ready to be given as gift.
