When I left school in 1995, I went straight in to my first photography job. I loved the camera. I loved taking pictures but it wasn’t until 1999 when I was introduced to Photoshop and I was hooked. The things you could do to your images were incredible and since then, it’s continued to improve. Personally I was lucky enough to be working with Photographers that knew how Photoshop worked and they were happy to teach me but not everyone has that. That’s why this year I’ve decided to introduce to my studio in Somerset Photoshop Training days!

I’ve been lucky enough to win quite a few photographic awards over the last few years including being shortlisted for Digital Image of the Year back in February so you know you’re in safe hands.

Kids as Somerset Giants Photos

The day will cover the various Photoshop tools and what they do; the menu options and how they can be used to adjust your images; how to retouch images from start to finish and depending on how you’re getting along, layer masks, actions and more.

Somerset Photoshop Training

This 4 hour one to one mentoring session is ideal for photographers of all levels. Whether your looking to do basic fixes to images or wanting to understand how to get the best out of your photos in post production, the course will be perfect. It may even be that you’re an advanced photographer that has simply never had the benefit of professional Photoshop training and would love to learn how to create a high-end finish to your work or even advanced composite training. There is no set agenda on these days so we can chat in advance about your current level of knowledge and what it is you want me to cover. Your Photoshop training will be catered to you and you alone.

At the end of your Photoshop mentoring session you will receive a folder with a breakdown of we have worked on; a cheat sheet of my favourite shortcuts and time saving tools and a selection of sample images for you to play with at a later date. You will also receive some of my very own Photoshop actions that I use all the time for you to keep and use.

The mentoring sessions take place at my Glastonbury based studio on a Wednesdays from 10:00 till 14:00 or Fridays from 17:00 till 21:00. Bookings need to be made at least 3 weeks in advance. If you think this would be of interest to you or would perhaps like to give this as a gift to someone in your life then you can buy your Somerset Photoshop Training day from our online shop.
